Chilton Machine Cut Veneer Tumbled

Stone Properties
Machine Cut Veneer (MCV) is quarried in layers of naturally bedded stone and is commonly laid up with a split face. We use a special process of splitting the stone with a hydraulic guillotine to expose the interior of our natural stone. Tumbling the product takes off hard edges and softens each piece to give it an aged look.

Approximately 38 sq. ft. per Ton

Heights: 2″ – 6″ and 6″ – 9″
Full veneer – 3½” – 5″ in wall depth
Thin veneer – 1¼” in wall depth
(+/- ¼”)

Country Manor represents several different types of natural colors and textures intended to complement your design. Our Country Manor is a beautiful blend of 10% Seamface, 40% Rustic Royal Chateau and 50% Machine Cut Veneer. While we love this combination, if you’d rather make it one you can call your own, please feel free to change the percentages or combine “flavors” of stone.

Chilton Country Manor has a very distinctive color mix from grays, lavenders, slight buff to slight blue tones. Because our stone is natural, there will be slight variations in color. We recommend visiting our showroom or requesting a sample prior to placing your final order.

Royal Chateau is dimensionally cut top and bottom edges with snapped ends make the installation easier and more cost effective. The vibrant color palette of our Chilton material is subdued  by tumbling the material prior to installation. You will find a blend of colors with any Chilton bedface product including shades of grays, lavenders, reds, buffs, blues and green.

Our most colorful quarries are located in Chilton, WI. A variety of deep gray, purple, green, blue, rust and burgundy stone is produced from these locations. The dimensionally cut, clean lines of Royal Chateau add crispness to the bold palette.

Dimensionally cut top and bottom edges with snapped ends make the installation easier and more cost effective. Royal Chateau is typically supplied in heights from 2¼″ to 21½″ depending on the overall “scale” of the project. Royal Chateau is also available tumbled for that age-old appearance.
