The tan to terra cotta color palette of Chestnut Sandstone is reminiscent of stone found in the Southwestern US.  Ledgestone’s thin lines are ideal when creating the dry stacked, modern application seen throughout the region.  No need for cross country shipping with Chestnut!  This material comes right from our backyard in Central Wisconsin.

Bedfaced, irregular shaped pieces create random patterns similar to our Webstone blend.  Boulders range in color from medium to darker brown.  The edges of this material will have a naturally tumbled appearance as part of our treatment process.

Oakfield Weathered Edge Tumbled

Weathered Edge is the rarest material found in our quarries. This material is exposed and erosion gifts it with the unique color and textures only mother nature can produce. Oakfield Weathered Edge ranges in tones of brown to medium golden brown. Tumbling mutes the color differences in this material while drawing attention to the texture.

The subtle gray and light buff tones of Oakfield’s natural bedface material blend beautifully in webstone applications. Irregular shaped pieces make up the mosaic of this random blend. Soft, rounded edges brings the material to a whole new level when the stone is tumbled.

Heritage Antique provides a unique blend of textures and shapes using 60% Tumbled Machine Cut Veneer, 30% Tumbled Webstone and 10% Tumbled Seamface. Oakfield blends warm buff, cool gray and golden brown tones for this rustic look.

Machine Cut Veneer (MCV) is quarried in layers of naturally bedded stone and is commonly laid up with a split face exposure. Oakfield material reveals inclusions, small pockets and a distinctive sparkle in its splitface. Colors range from buff to gray with irregular lines for added character.

The added Tumbling process gives the stone an aged, distinguished appearance by rounding the edges.
